The brand dates back to 1955 when Jack CROSLAND and Tommy Shields, two East Midland businessmen, began manufacturing felt filters in Nottingham. The brand continues to apply traditional engineering skills and experience whilst harnessing the latest technology to reduce costs and improve quality. This approach has enabled the brand to evolve by best meeting the needs of the customers, and the opportunities of the future.

From its Midlands roots, the CROSLAND brand has grown into a global supplier to both vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket. Research is at the heart of the automotive industry and is one of the key reasons for CROSLAND’s success. Development, continual testing and refinement have ensured that CROSLAND products have maintained their position as most in tune with its customers’ ever changing needs. To maintain its premier market position, Sogefi undertakes continual production engineering development. As a result the brand has developed new, more environmentally friendly methods of production.
