The Llantrisant plant

The Llantrisant plant was built in 1969 as a so-called ‘wet factory’ producing only liquid filters (oil and fuel filters) for the car and heavy duty markets. More than 500 people are employed in the factory, which is dedicated to the production of spin-on, inline, cartridge and eco filters.

The Llantrisant plant is the home to numerous advanced technology processes including:

• Deep drawing fuel filter bodies with integral connectors;
  
• Powder coat paint lines for finishing spin on bodies;
  
• Automation to assemble spin-on and inline fuel filter;
  
• Controlled flame machinery to produce eco-filters.
