Today, the quality of the environment affects all of us in our daily lives. This is why we want to make everyone at SOGEFI FILTER DIVISION aware of their responsibilities and the contribution they can make to improve the environment.
Constant improvement in the environment is achieved by strict application of the rules and by preventive measures:
- All new activities, products and processes must be analysed for their environmental impact in advance. Also existing activities and procedure and those of suppliers working on our premises need regular monitoring.
- This policy is integrated into the design and life cycle of our products
- Our suppliers must be trained in our environmental procedures
- Pollution and waste are to be prevented and eliminated
The environment is not an impediment but a vector for progress and co-operation. Effective application of our environmental policy is based on the following factors:
- The taking into account of the Environnement principles quoted in the SOGEFI group policy
- All employees take responsibility for environmental issues
- Establishing procedures and audits to measure progress and to react efficiently to non-conformities having an environmental impact
- Establishing a long term plan and annual objectives for each site
- Timely and accessible internal communication of the effects of our impact on the environment and the actions established to reduce them
